How to Recover a Forgotten Password

Password Recovery​

If you have forgotten your password, you can easily recover your account using your email address.

Step 1: Initiating the Process​

  1. From the Login (Ingia) page, find and click the link Umesahau nywila yako? Bofya (Forgot your password? Click) located below the login buttons.

  2. You will be directed to the Forgot Password? (Umesahau Nywila?) page.
  1. On the Forgot Password? page, enter the Email Address (Barua Pepe) you use for your Karakana account.

  2. Read the instructions provided: "Usijali! Weka barua pepe yako ili upokee kiungo cha kurejesha nywila na kurudi kwenye akaunti yako." (Don't worry! Enter your email to receive a password reset link and return to your account.)
  3. Click the button: Pata Nywila Mpya (Get New Password)

Check Your Inbox: The password reset link will be sent to the email inbox you provided. Open that link and follow the instructions to set a new password. Make sure to check the Spam/Junk folder if you do not see the email in your main inbox.

If you remember your password, you can click Umekumbuka Nywila? Ingia (Remembered Password? Log in) to return to the login page.
